I'm caught in a trap that I can't get out of. When I'm up all night I have a tendency to sleep 9-10 hours or more. I usually sleep for 7 or 8 and I typically can't sleep more than that at any time. My body can't handle a day of less than 14 hours, so I can't wake up at 1:30 like I did yesterday afternoon and expect to be able to go to bed at 2 this morning.
I'm forcing myself to 7 hours of sleep tonight to try and break the cycle. This is going to be rough, but waking up at 5:30am for work later this week will be rougher if I don't do anything pre-emptively.
I'm really good at this circadian-rhythm-know-your-sleep-capabilities thing. Can I be a redeye pilot already?
